The Fashion and Textiles Museum normally offers one large exhibition of pieces focusing on a fashion or textile subject from the 1950s to the present day in the main exhibiting space along with other smaller exhibitions.

The Fashion and Textiles Museum also offers many short course classes as well as guest speakers and lecturers for each exhibition.

The Fashion and Textiles museum is the only museum in the United Kingdom solely dedicated to showcasing developments in contemporary fashion, as well as providing support and training for those working in the fashion industry.
